Change in season
March has been warm so far, but it is clear that the season has changed. The light looks different, softer, muted, and the sun is further north. There's an autumn crispness in the evening air and the leaves have started to turn.
Nor mine Shane... I have at least 12 well-developed tomato plants this year (managed none last year), all with small green tomatoes on. I am guessing none will ripen.
Escaped Sydney in 2010 for a piece of paradise in Tasmania's Huon Valley. I'm a keen walker, remote worker, incompetent gardener, Bernese Mountain Dog owner, fan of almost anything German (food, language, cars, beer), amateur linguist, chook fancier, childfree.
Sad in a way, but autumn is our favourite time of year in Tasmania.
